    Sales Manager

    Role Purpose

    • The Sales Manager drives all commercial and operational aspects of the Lekki boutique. Reporting to the General Manager, the role converts ambitious sales targets into executable action plans, builds and mentors a high-performing team, and delivers a best-in-class customer experience while safeguarding brand standards and profitability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own daily, weekly and monthly sales, conversion, Average Transaction Value (ATV) and Units
    • Per Transaction (UPT) targets; analyse trade reports and activate action plans to outperform budgets.
    • Champion impeccable customer service and clienteling to achieve Net Promoter Score (NPS) ≥ 85 and < 1 % complaint ratio.
    • Lead a team of stylists, cashiers and stock associates: recruit, train, set objectives and deliver monthly performance reviews.
    • Maintain flawless visual merchandising in line with brand guidelines and weekly floor-set schedules.
    • Oversee inventory accuracy, receiving and stockroom organisation; collaborate with Buying &
    • Production to optimise stock cover and sell-through.
    • Ensure strict adherence to SOPs covering cash handling, opening/closing, health & safety, and security.
    • Plan and execute in-store events, influencer appointments and private shopping experiences in partnership with Marketing.
    • Prepare weekly trade updates and provide insight-driven recommendations to the General
    • Manager and Founder/CEO.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s or HND degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management or a related field.
    • 5+ years’ fashion retail experience with at least 2 years managing a high-volume boutique or department.
    • Proven record of exceeding sales targets through data-driven decisions and outstanding client development.
    • Solid understanding of retail KPIs, merchandising principles and inventory health metrics.
    • Inspirational leader with excellent communication, coaching and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and basic POS or retail ERP systems.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays as business demands.
