    Emerging Markets Sales Specialist

    • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify untapped opportunities across the Warri / Benin / Sapele corridor and adjacent operating zones.
    • Develop and execute a structured sales plan covering target accounts, OEM product positioning, EPCIM service offers, growth initiatives and required resources.
    • Build and aggressively nurture a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities sufficient to meet 3x revenue coverage.
    • Target NOCs (NPDC, NUIMS), Indigenous Operators (Seplat, Aiteo, Heritage, Energia, Eroton, NDPR, Sterling Global, Pan Ocean, Heirs, Waltersmith), and Tier-1 EPC contractors operating in the corridor.
    • Serve as the primary commercial interface for clients in the corridor; understand each client’s operational pain points and present credible EPCIM and OEM solutions.
    • Build and steward long-term relationships with Procurement Managers, Engineering Leads, Maintenance Superintendents, Project Managers and decision-making C-suite executives.
    • Lead contract negotiations ensuring profitable, sustainable, NCD-compliant agreements with credible risk allocation.
    • Achieve client retention and account expansion targets via planned account-management cadence.
    • Lead bid response for tenders sourced in the corridor; co-ordinate with the Tendering Unit, Technical, Procurement and Finance teams.
    • Develop compelling technical / commercial proposals; align every submission with client specs, NCD targets and company profitability thresholds.
    • Drive OEM product sales pumps, valves, fire protection, anti-theft locking systems, instrumentation from prospecting through demo, FAT, commissioning and after-sales service handover.
    • Manage the OEM partner relationship locally; coordinate FAT visits, training and on-site technical support.
    • Track competitor activities, pricing benchmarks, OEM movement, and client capex/opex cycles; produce monthly intelligence briefings.
    • Maintain a deep working knowledge of the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act and current NCD reporting requirements.
    • Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts, pipeline updates and call reports on company CRM.
    • Work seamlessly with Operations, Project Management and Procurement / Service Delivery to ensure a smooth sale-to-execution-to-after-sales lifecycle.
    • Provide voice-of-client feedback to shape future offerings, OEM product roadmap and service-line investment.
    • Coordinate joint sales calls with Engineering and Maintenance experts when technical depth is required to close.
    • Bachelors' degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Electrical) or a related technical field.
    • Other degrees with demonstrable O&G sales depth may be considered.
    • Minimum of 8 years’ progressive technical sales / business development experience within the Nigerian oil & gas sector, with at least 4 years actively selling in the Warri / Benin / Sapele corridor.
    • Verifiable track record of closing single deals ≥ ₦ 250M with NOCs / Indigenous Operators / IOCs.
    • Hands-on experience selling complex technical products pumps, valves, fire protection, instrumentation, or comparable OEM-led equipment.
    • Experience with NIPEX, IOC e-procurement and NCD compliance.
    • In-depth understanding of upstream (drilling, completion, production), midstream (pipelines, processing, gas) and downstream (refining, distribution) operations in the corridor.
    • Verifiable, named-account network with Procurement, Engineering and Operations leadership across Indigenous Operators in the corridor.
    • Thorough knowledge of Nigerian regulatory environment; specific expertise in local content compliance under the NOGICD Act 2010 and the PIA 2021.
    • Proficient in SAP / Oracle / NIPEX / advanced PowerPoint and Excel for opportunity modelling and proposal preparation.
    • CRM discipline (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or Zoho) must operate the system, not avoid it.
    • Comfortable building unit-rate pricing, lifecycle cost models and after-sales service P&Ls.
    • Executive presence; able to brief a Maintenance Superintendent and an NOC GM in the same week.
    • Negotiation grit and emotional regulation under pricing pressure.
