    Sales Manager - Marine

    • The successful candidate will be a marine industry veteran who understands the technical needs and operational challenges of this sector and can effectively translate those needs into valuable solutions for our clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve aggressive revenue targets and expand EIPS's market share within the Nigerian marine sector.
    • Client Relationship Management: Identify, build, and maintain robust long-term relationships with key decision-makers (Technical Managers, Fleet Directors, Procurement Heads) among Nigerian and international vessel owners and operators.
    • Technical Solution Selling: Conduct in-depth needs assessments and present complex technical solutions clearly, linking our offerings to specific client operational requirements, cost savings, and regulatory compliance.
    • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor the Nigerian maritime landscape, including regulatory changes (e.g., NIMASA, Nigerian Ports Authority), competitive activities, and emerging technical needs.
    • Proposal & Negotiation: Lead the preparation of high-quality technical proposals, tender submissions, and negotiate contracts to successful closure.
    • Sales Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management reports, and market feedback to the senior management team.

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in the Nigerian marine, maritime, or offshore oil & gas sector.
    • Industry Knowledge (Mandatory): Deep, firsthand understanding of the operational structure, procurement processes, and key technical challenges faced by vessel owners and operators (e.g., PSVs, OSVs, Tankers, Cargo Vessels) in Nigerian waters.
    • Technical Acumen: Proven ability to sell complex technical solutions (e.g., MRO services, specialized equipment, diagnostic software, integrity services) rather than just simple commodities. A background or degree in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is a significant advantage.
    • Network: An established, verifiable network of contacts within the Nigerian marine industry.
    • Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Fluency in English is required.
    • Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Nigeria to meet clients at ports, shipyards, and operator offices.
