To provide support to the Lead rotating equipment engineer on broad technical assurance, ensuring that the technical integrity of rotating equipment asset is adequately safeguarded.
Main Accountabilities
Support Rotating Equipment Engineers to develop QA/QC plans for shutdown/overhauls (e.g. ITPs, quality checklists, repair / overhaul scopes)
Support Rotating equipment Engineers with planning of shutdown/overhauls (spares and special tools optimization/availability)
Support execution/inspection during planned/unplanned shutdown
Maintain records and compile reports to document the quality control/assurance
Identify improvement opportunities and share learnings and best practices across the plan
Carry out equipment surveillance periodically and generate list for correction
Generate monthly report on equipment status in assigned area working closely with the Condition Monitoring specialist for that area
Job Requirements
Education HND, B.Eng. or B. Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.
Experience Minimum of 3 years working experience in an Oil and Gas plant, or similar industry.
