Retail/Business Banking Officer at Regent Microfinance Bank Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, acquire, and manage new and existing retail and business banking customers.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow deposits, loans, and overall customer portfolio.
• Conduct credit assessments, prepare loan proposals, and ensure proper loan documentation.
• Monitor loan repayments and maintain portfolio quality to minimize credit risk.
• Cross-sell banking products and services to maximize customer value and engagement.
• Maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery and after-sales support.
• Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth account opening, loan processing, and service delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or any related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in retail or SME banking (preferably within a Microfinance or Commercial Bank).
• Proven track record in deposit mobilization, loan sales, and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial statements, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital banking tools.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail.
