    Researcher/Editor – ESG Ratings

    Position Overview:

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Researcher/Editor to join our ESG Ratings team.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on ESG factors, analyzing data, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of our ESG rating reports.
    • This role requires a strong understanding of ESG principles, excellent editorial skills, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise reports.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive research on companies’ environmental, social, and governance practices using various data sources, including public disclosures, regulatory filings, and third-party databases.
    • Analyze quantitative and qualitative ESG data to support the development of ESG ratings and scores.
    • Review and edit ESG rating reports to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
    • Collaborate with the ESG analytics and data science teams to validate data inputs and methodologies.
    • ·Monitor ESG trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices to inform research and editorial processes.
    • Assist in the preparation of client-facing reports, presentations, and other communications.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and rating methodologies (e.g., SASB, GRI, TCFD, UN PRI).
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance research quality and editorial workflows.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Finance, Sustainability, Business, Journalism, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in ESG research, sustainability analysis, financial research, or editorial roles.
    • Strong understanding of ESG concepts, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
    • Excellent research skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data from multiple sources.
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data analysis tools (e.g., E xcel, Python, R) is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Passion for sustainability and responsible investing.
