Qualification and Experience

• Must be a registered Nurse/Midwifery Educator
• Must have at least a minimum of post-graduate degree (M.Sc) in Nursing or Midwifery.
• Must have a minimum of ten (10) years Teaching and Administrative experience
• Must have or possess a current Professional Licence of practice

Responsibilities

• The Provost is the Chief Executive and Academic Officer of the College
• He/she shall be the Accounting officer of the College.
• He/she shall be responsible to the Council for the Execution of the Policies governing the College and day-to-administration of the College.
• Shall be responsible to the Council for the day-to-day expenditure of the College in accordance with the budgeting estimate of the College and shall present the statement of Accounts to the Council in the manner required by it.
• Carry out such other duties as the Council may from time to time assign.

Tenure

• The Provost shall hold the office for a term of four (4) years and subject to renewal.

Salary and Conditions of Service

• The conditions of service are as obtainable for the tertiary institutions in Nigeria and determined by the Governing Council of the College.
