    Program Manager

    Location: Lugbe, Abuja (FCT) 

    Job Summary

    • We are currently seeking an exceptional Program Manager to lead the strategic design, coordination, and implementation of the hospital’s clinical, research, and outreach programs.
    • You will assist in the initial build-out and operational setup of the hospital.
    • This role is ideal for someone resourceful, organized, and ready to roll up their sleeves.

    Position Overview

    • The Program Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of key hospital programs and services.
    • This person will be the operational engine behind our early success, ensuring that St. Ruth’s mission is translated into measurable action across departments.
    • You will work closely with the President, Director of Research, Medical Directors, development team, and international partners to ensure programs are impactful, evidence-based, and sustainable.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and manage implementation of clinical care, research, and community outreach programs.
    • Oversee project timelines, budgets, donor reporting, and impact evaluation.
    • Develop internal systems for monitoring program performance and service delivery.
    • Coordinate with hospital departments to ensure smooth, interdisciplinary operations.
    • Prepare proposals, progress reports, and program updates for donors and partners.
    • Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of program staff.
    • Identify opportunities for new partnerships and strategic growth.
    • Represent St. Ruth at professional conferences, donor meetings, and government forums.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field (required).
    • Master’s degree in Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or related field (plus)
    • 2 - 5 years of program management experience in a health, research, or nonprofit setting.
    • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and high-impact projects.
    • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Passion for mission-driven work and equity in healthcare.
