Lead and supervise the Consumer Banking Unit to achieve deposit, income, and profitability targets.
Drive business growth by leveraging an existing client portfolio and expanding within the Akwa Ibom market.
Mobilise deposits (fixed, savings, and current accounts – personal & SME) and grow income lines.
Oversee financial management, including budgeting, financial statement analysis, variance reporting, and performance monitoring.
Supervise credit appraisals and enterprise risk management to ensure quality risk assets and portfolio health.
Requirements:
Candidate must bring along an existing client portfolio as well as have a good understanding of the Akwa Ibom business Market, have good computer skills (must be fluent in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint).
Candidate will be required to supervise the consumer banking unit in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, and this role includes growing deposit liabilities by marketing and growing fixed deposit accounts, savings accounts and current accounts (both personal & SME)
Candidate will be required to be conversant with the preparation and interpretation of management accounts, annual accounts and other performance monitoring accounts/tools, as well as analysing financial statements on a monthly/yearly basis /variances reporting.
Candidate will be required to prepare and interpret the units budget as well as be conversant in analysing fees, interest income, investment income, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly/yearly basis.
Candidate will be required to grow income lines, deposit liability, good risk assets and profitability for the unit.
The candidate will be required to supervise the unit credit appraisals and enterprise risk management.
