    Procurement / Storekeeper

    About the job

    • The storekeeper is responsible for the maintenance of the organization’s storeroom on site, performing activities such as stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records, purchasing, and related duties as required.

    Responsibilities

    • To receive all goods supplied to the site on record and release same on record as at when due.
    • To take daily inventory of store items and relate same to the Quantity Surveyor for prompt decision on procurement.
    • To take inventory of all items on site and relate to the Quantity Surveyor.
    • To collect all receipts of purchases and submit same to the Quantity Surveyor after taking proper records.
    • To take inventory of obsolete, disused or moribund items and relate same to the Quantity Surveyor for management’s decision.
    • To take inventory of reparable items and relate same to the Quantity Surveyor for prompt repairs.
    • Assist to Draft and create a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or a Contract Agreement between the Company and the Contractor.
    • Assist to Undertake in-depth market survey regarding prevailing prices of materials for projects with a view to ensuring cost-leadership.
    • Assist to Effectively manage stakeholders including engineers, vendors, workers, contractor and subcontractor to deliver the objectives of each project in line with the Organization’s strategic objectives.
    • Assist to Build strong relationships with team members, external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration to ultimately achieve the Organization’s corporate objectives.
    • Assist to Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
    • Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies
    • Assist to Perform risk, value management, and cost control
    • Advise on a procurement strategy
    • Perform any other task as may be required.

    Requirement:

    • Must be organized and punctual.
    • Well-presented and professional.
    • A BSc holder in any related field or equivalent.
    • Prior experience in Real Estate, preferably in a Storekeeper / procurement position, would be advantageous.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient with the use of computer system for documentations and sending mails.
    • It's very important that the ideal applicant live around Lekki, Lagos state.
