Procurement Executive at Chika's Wholefoods Africa Limited

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to optimize value for the company.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on procurement processes.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
• Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 4 years experience
• Proven experience as a Procurement Executive or in a similar role.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
