    People Operations Manager

    • The People Operations Manager oversees HR operations, including disciplinary processes, compliance, union relations, and employee support functions, while fostering a positive, compliant workplace environment.
    • Reporting to the Head of Culture and Employee Experience, this role provides oversight of the Industrial Relations and Compliance Specialist,
    • HR Records and Policy Analyst, Employer Brand and Engagement Specialist, and the People Operations Specialist.
    • The People Operations Manager is responsible for implementing operational improvements, managing employee records, supporting union relations, and developing proactive initiatives to enhance employee experience and reduce infractions.

    Your Role Accountabilities are:

    • Operational HR Service Delivery
    • Disciplinary Process Management and Infraction Reduction Initiatives
    • Supervision of Union Relations and Compliance
    • Oversight of Records Management, Policy Documentation, and Process Digitalization
    • Employee Engagement and Employer
    • Brand Advocacy
    • Data Analysis and Reporting for Continuous Improvement

    • Risk Management: Ensures compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and HR policies by maintaining accurate records, monitoring overtime practices, and supporting fair, welldocumented employee relations processes.
    • People Leadership: Supports positive employee and union relationships by facilitating engagement initiatives, promoting trust, and contributing to a respectful and collaborative workplace culture.
    • Entrepreneurship: Continuously improves HR operations through digitalization, process optimization, and practical solutions that enhance efficiency, data integrity, and employee experience.
    • Organizational Learning: Uses HR data, engagement insights, and employee feedback to identify trends, inform improvements, and strengthen HR service delivery and employee engagement outcomes.
    • Change Management: Supports effective communication and adoption of HR policy updates, digital tools, and engagement initiatives, helping employees and managers navigate change smoothly.

    Minimum Requirement

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations,
    • Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR Operations, Employee Relations, People Operations, or Industrial Relations. CIPM (Associate or Chartered) certification is an added advantage
    • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, labor laws, and HR policies.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
