    People Operations Manager

    Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria

    About the Role:

    We are looking for a passionate and people-centric People Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead HR initiatives with a focus on employee experience, operational efficiency, culture, and compliance. You will be instrumental in scaling our HR processes, nurturing talent, and ensuring a positive work environment aligned with our company’s goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, performance management, and offboarding.
    • Design and execute strategies to enhance company culture, team collaboration, and employee satisfaction.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and issues.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are compliant with Nigerian labor laws.
    • Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs and talent management strategies.
    • Oversee payroll processing, leave management, and benefits administration.
    • Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
    • Plan and manage internal communication and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Analyze HR data and provide reports on people metrics like retention, turnover, and performance.
    • Ensure consistent and transparent HR practices across departments.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in People Operations or HR roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Proficient in using HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS systems, payroll platforms).
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
    • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with strong organizational skills.
