    Operations Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the operations of the hotel to achieve optimal goals in collaboration With the management.
    • Oversee guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, finances, team building, security, sales, product delivery, and staff development.
    • Deal effectively with suppliers and contractors for the smooth running of the hotel.
    • Supervise line managers, supervisors, heads of departments, and sections' duties for superior performance for profitability and growth.
    • Receive requisitions for materials and finances from departments for consideration and approvals.
    • Supervise and monitor all ongoing projects to ensure adherence till the completion stage.
    • Delegate duties to the managers/supervisors and heads of departments on work schedule, hiring new employees, staff induction training, and any other duties for superior performance.
    • Ensure compliance with the statutory responsibilities to the government.
    • Market the hotel to organizations, institutions, and multinational companies for patronage.
    • Assist the company General Manager in setting various policies and ensure compliance as may be directed.
    • Any other responsibilities as it may be assigned from time to time by the General Manager, Chief Executive Officer, and MD

    Requirement

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management or any related field
    • 3+ years in the hospitality industry, with experience in various departments (front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, etc.).
    • Familiarity with hotel management software
    • Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and operational analytics.
    • Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
    • Effective conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
    • Strong understanding of hotel operations, including room bookings, guest relations, housekeeping, and maintenance.
    • Budget management and cost control.
    • Understanding of revenue management strategies.
    • Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and quality assurance.

    Attention to Detail:

    • Empathy and the ability to build rapport with guests and staff.
