    Operations and Maintenance Supervisor (Distribution)

    Purpose of the Job 

    • Responsible for the maintenance activities of electrical distribution systems, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of power delivery.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities 

    • The Maintenance Supervisor shall therefore be responsible, but not limited, for the following:
    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical distribution equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear 
    • Respond promptly to system disturbances, outages, or emergencies by coordinating maintenance efforts to restore normal operations as quickly as possible
    • Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in compliance with industry standards and regulations 
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and incident
    • Prepare and submit reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and any corrective actions taken 
    • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
    • Develop work schedules and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
    • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Lead O&M

    Minimum Educational & Professional Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

    • B.Eng or HND in an Engineering field + COREN accredited PGD + Masters in the same field
    • Professional certifications in maintenance management or electrical systems are advantageous 
    • 3 - 4 years of experience in electrical maintenance

    Attributes and Competencies 

    • Understanding of electricity regulations, policies, and energy loss prevention measures. 
    • Knowledge of Electricity Regulations and Policies
    • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and familiarity with SCADA systems
    • Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements in the power industry
    • 6. Metering Supervisor
    • Location: NESCO (Nigeria) Limited’s Head Office, Bukuru. Plateau State 
    • Purpose of the Job 
    • Supervise and coordinate metering activities to ensure accuracy in customer metering, and resolution of technical and non-technical issues related to metering. Oversee pre-paid and post-paid metering operations, and ensure timely meter reading and reporting
    • Key Duties and Responsibilities 
    • The Metering Supervisor, shall therefore be responsible, but not limited for the following:
    • Joint coordination of all customer metering activities 
    • Develop weekly plans to guide field teams, address exceptions, and resolve customer complaints effectively.
    • •Ensure to determine the right and adequate rating or capacity of customers’ meter before procurement and installation.
    • Ensure investigation of customer metering complaints and provide technical comments on various investigations 
    • Monitor and ensure resolution of technical and non-technical issues related to customer metering and deal with all cases of non-compliance
    • Monitoring of meter installations 
    • •Oversee periodic recertification and validation of customer meters to ensure accurate energy measurement and billing
    • Ensure the accuracy of weekly/monthly reports 
    • Ensure close liaison with pre-paid meters vendors and billing platform vendors 
    • Perform random audit checks of installations to ensure adherence to quality standards 
    • Ensure prompt distribution of bills
    • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and occupational health and safety standards
    • Prepare periodic reports for the attention of the Lead, Commercial 
    • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Lead, Commercial
    • Minimum Educational & Professional Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
    • First degree in Electrical Engineering/ related fields or equivalent qualifications
    • Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in a similar role

    • 7.  Complaint Resolution Officer
    • Location 
    • Location: NESCO (Nigeria) Limited’s Head Office, Bukuru. Plateau State 
    • Purpose of the Job 
    • The Complaint Resolution Officer is responsible for handling customer complaints, inquiries, and service requests with professionalism and efficiency
    •  
    • Key Duties and Responsibilities 
    • The Complaint Resolution Officer shall therefore be responsible, but not limited, for the following:
    • Identify and troubleshoot customer complaints, including billing disputes, power outages, and service quality 
    • concerns, ensuring timely resolution 
    • Build sustainable customer relationships through open and engaging interactions 
    • Profile customers based on their queries and respond in line with best practices, ethics, and professionalism 
    • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information while adhering to regulatory requirements 
    • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions within defined time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution 
    • Document all customer interactions using NESCO’s specified channels and escalate technical complaints to the appropriate field teams 
    • Collaborate with field teams to track and resolve service disruptions or technical issues requiring onsite

    • Minimum Educational & Professional Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
    • Diploma or its equivalent in Business Administration or Social Science is required
    •  0-3 years’ work experience in customer service roles

    • Location

    • Purpose of the Job 
    • Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of electrical transformers within the power distribution network.Duties and Responsibilities
    • Key Duties and Responsibilities 
    • The Transformer Maintenance Officer shall therefore be responsible, but not limited, for the following:
    • Conduct regular inspections of transformers to assess their condition and identify potential issues 
    • Perform diagnostic tests, including insulation resistance testing, oil analysis, and thermal imaging, to evaluate 
    • transformer health 
    • Execute preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, tightening connections, and replacing worn 
    • components, to prolong transformer lifespan 
    • Inspect and maintain transformer substation sites to identify and resolve technical problems, ensuring equipment 
    • is tidy and in good working condition 
    • Address and rectify faults or malfunctions in transformers promptly to minimize downtime 
    • Installation of new transformers, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards 
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during maintenance activities to ensure personal and

    • The accounts Manager shall therefore be responsible, but not limited, for the following:

    • Location

    • Purpose of the Job
    • Develop and enforce security policies that ensure the protection of NESCO’s assets and the safety of its employees while performing their duties, by implementing effective and cost-efficient security solutions
    • Key Duties and Responsibilities
    • The Supervisor Security shall therefore be responsible, but not limited, for the following:
    • Coordinate the security operations, as well as manage, train, and assess the performance of the entire security personnel 
    • Supervision of operational activities of security outfits working for the company. 
    • Develop and implement security policies
    • Analyze and use CCTV camera and other electronics data to prevent and detect crime within the Organization’s franchise area.  
    • General Supervision of the security team 
    • Develop training content and conduct company-wide security awareness training 
    • Ensure the security of NESCO assets to optimize efficiency and customer service

    • Working with the Legal/Compliance Team, or being independently responsible for ensuring the company complies with Local, National and Global Regulations and Standards, including in areas like privacy, health and safety
    • Implementing and overseeing strategies to safeguard the Corporation and its assets, and assist in crisis management. 
    • Collaborating with the Health and safety Department in risk assessment and mitigation.
    • Training & advising security professionals and other members of staff in security rules, policies & procedures and other security issues.

    • First degree (B.SC or H.N.D) in Social Sciences, Crime Management or any relevant field 
    • Professional certification is required 
    • Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint Outlook)
    • Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in Security preferably in a related electricity industry
