Site Engineer/ Builder at Nanoy Homes Ltd

 Key Responsibilities

• ⁠Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site
• ⁠Read, interpret, and implement construction drawings and specifications accurately
• ⁠Coordinate artisans, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery
• ⁠Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with building standards and regulations
• ⁠Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment on site
• ⁠Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
• ⁠Prepare site reports and provide regular progress updates to management
• ⁠Identify and resolve on-site technical issues promptly
• ⁠Liaise with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies as required

 Requirements / Qualifications

• ⁠Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in construction or building projects
• ⁠HND or Bachelor’s degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field
• ⁠Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• ⁠Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices
• ⁠Strong supervision, coordination, and communication skills
• ⁠Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines
• ⁠Knowledge of safety procedures and site management best practices

Added Advantages

• ⁠Experience with residential or commercial building projects
• ⁠Basic knowledge of project costing or material estimation
• ⁠Familiarity with Nigerian building codes and regulations
• ⁠Computer literacy (AutoCAD or basic site documentation tools is an advantage)
• ⁠Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
