Our client, a leading Transaction Finance company, is seeking motivated and results-driven Merchant Sales Officers for various locations across Nigeria.
As a Merchant Sales Officer, your main responsibility will be to acquire new merchants and drive revenue growth. You will develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and cultivate strong relationships with merchants.
Responsibilities
Acquire new merchants and manage existing merchant transactions.
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive merchant acquisition and revenue growth.
Identify new business opportunities and devise plans to capitalize on them.
Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers.
Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Risk & Compliance, Retention, Technical Support, and Product, to ensure a seamless user experience.
Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
NCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
Experience in the transaction finance industry is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in local language relevant to the location of the job.
