Mechanical Technician at TAG Energy Nigeria Limited

TAG Energy, an integrated service company offering a comprehensive range of oilfield products and support services in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry, is looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Technician for a marine oil and gas client in Onne FTZ

Responsibilities

• Mechanical maintenance, testing and calibration of PSVs
• Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
• Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
• Resolve motor, valves, pump, conveyor, and hydraulic problems.
• Ensure high level technical support to lower level technicians.
• Handle simple and complex heavy industrial equipment like forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks and bobcats.
• Comply with the company and customer regulations and policies.

General Requirements

• HND/B. Eng in Mechanical engineering or any related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a mechanical technician.
• Analytical, Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside business hour.
