Marketing Officer at FINCA International

The Marketing Officer (MO) will support the Head of Sales, Marketing, and Product Development in creating and executing effective marketing and PR strategies. The role focuses on enhancing FINCA MFB Nigeria’s brand, driving customer engagement, and supporting growth through market research, promotional campaigns, excellent customer experience, and digital marketing efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
• Plan and execute advertising and promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility.
• Oversee digital marketing strategies including SEO, social media, and online advertising.
• Manage brand image and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
• Assist with internal communication and employee engagement strategies.
• Support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and event coordination.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
• Manage marketing budget and track expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Provide regular reports and updates to the Head of Sales, Marketing, and Product Development.

Savings Mobilization Drive:

• Builds a database of prospects using diverse sources to mobilize savings for the Bank
• Manage assigned savings portfolio to ensure growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager

Team: 

• Maintain a good relationship with the staff, and purse additional training as warranted.

Product/ Services: 

• Market all FINCA products and services to potential clients by using promotional tools and mechanisms approved by FINCA’s management.

Customer Service:

• Ensure customer receive the best service, maintain good relations with customer, and timely respond to the needs of existing customers.
• Manages difficult or emotional customer situation; Respond promptly to customer needs as per guidelines in the Customer Service Manual.
• Meet commitments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of HND/Degree in Marketing, Economics or relevant field
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing with strong experience in digital marketing
• Knowledge of marketing coordination and PR campaigns.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office; Use of Marketing Computer Software, Online application will be an added advantage.
• Excellent in oral and written communication in English language.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
