    Marketing Manager

    Location – Mainland, Lagos

    Business of the Company - Importation and sales of high-quality cosmetics product within Nigeria and the West Africa region.

    Job Summary

    Coordinating Sales Force across Nigerian and West African sub-region and driving them to optimal performance.

    Developing and executing strategic Marketing for business. Meeting growth objectives and contributing to overall corporate profit through new product launches, as well as the ongoing support of basic business.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and implement Marketing strategies for body fragrances, cosmetics and other skin products category with a focus on topline growth and increasing market share.
    • Lead, plan, and execute launch programs including adapting launches and forecasting launch quantities, etc.
    • Manage full 360-launch plans including a budget, visual weeks, merchandising, sampling, account-specific adaptation.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams on the execution of PR, education, events and media support.
    • Develop seasonal marketing calendar to maximize launches and strategic focus.
    • Ensure ongoing updates and communication of sales calendar to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Build and revise annual budget (promotional spending).
    • Reconcile monthly actual to budget spending to ensure spending is on target.
    • Catalogue and quarterly planning of the KPI’s of Direct Sales staff.
    • Analyze and monitor sales results.
    • Develop and implement necessary actions determining the execution of sales targets.
    • Monitor competition in the market.

    Qualifications and requirements

    • B.Sc./HND.
    • 5+ years’ experience in B2B & B2C cosmetics or body care products sales.
    • Strong hands-on experience in Marketing/Sales of similar products.
    • Knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Power point presentation.
    • Good knowledge of the beauty business and luxury products.
    • Proven ability to develop marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
    • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Positive and diligent with integrity and detail-oriented
    • Must be able to use social media effectively to promote products and drive sales
    • Must have strong disposition to continuous personal development
