Marketing Executives at Wrightwood Furniture Ltd

A growing woodwork and furniture firm is considering hiring marketing officers/executives. The Marketing Officer will develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales for the company's woodworking and furniture products. The ideal candidate is a creative, results-driven professional with a solid understanding of the woodwork and interior design market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Personally contact and secure new businesses, and work to expand the customer base.
• Develop and implement marketing campaigns and outreach tailored to the woodwork and furniture industry, seeking to secure new opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends. Analyze competitor offerings and demographics to find growth opportunities. 
• Design and implement promotional and advertising campaigns across various media, including social media, print, and events. 
• Manage the company's social media presence by creating and curating content, and engaging with the audience to build brand loyalty.
• Plan and coordinate promotional activities, events, and trade shows to showcase products and connect with potential clients.
• Create and execute the distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, articles, and website content. 
• Work closely with sales, product development, and finance departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives and ensure products meet market demands. 
• Track and analyze the success of marketing activities using metrics, and make adjustments as necessary. 
• Prepare sales forecasts and report on performance results to management. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a marketing role, with experience in the furniture, woodworking, or interior design industry as a significant advantage.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of marketing techniques and principles.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management, Google Analytics, email marketing software).
