Job Summary

• We are seeking a competent and experienced Local Security Advisor to strengthen our Aviation Security (AVSEC) posture and operational integrity.
• The Local Security Advisor will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with aviation security standards in line with regulatory requirements. This includes implementing security protocols, monitoring potential threats, and working closely with both internal teams and external regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce aviation security procedures within the facility and airside operations.
• Ensure full compliance with national and international AVSEC regulations.
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Liaise with airline partners, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies on all matters related to aviation security.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on AVSEC awareness and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date records of security documentation and reports.
• Lead emergency response protocols and drills in line with company policies.

Requirements

• AVSEC Certification (Stetep 2) – Mandatory.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in secup 1 & Srity operations, preferably in the aviation or inflight catering industry.
• Strong knowledge of ICAO and NCAA security regulations.
• Excellent communication and incident reporting skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Must be a team player with the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in law enforcement or military service is an advantage.
• Prior experience working in a regulated airside environment.
