Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal Officer based in Abuja. The Legal Officer will be responsible for providing legal advice, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and ensuring legal compliance in all business operations. The role includes managing contracts, offering legal consulting services, and handling issues related to business law. The Legal Officer will work closely with internal teams to mitigate legal risks and safeguard the company’s interests.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Energy Law and general legal practices
• Experience in Legal Consulting and providing professional legal advice
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and review
• Comprehensive understanding of Contract Law and related legal frameworks
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
• Law degree and professional legal certification with relevant work experience
• Knowledge of energy infrastructure or power sector is an advantage
