Newrest is seeking a full-time Hot Kitchen Chef for an on-site role located at our Ikeja facility.
As a Hot Kitchen Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a diverse range of hot dishes while maintaining high-quality standards, maximizing efficiency, and minimizing waste.
Your duties will also include supervising and training kitchen staff to ensure that they are performing their roles effectively.
Qualifications
A diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Hot Kitchen Chef or a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent knowledge of Nigerian, African, French, Italian, Asian and international cuisine, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
Ability to manage a team of kitchen staff and maintain a positive work environment.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and keep calm under pressure.
