Job Descriptions
The incumbent will be saddled but not limited to the below responsibilities:

• Taking comprehensive measurements of project spaces.
• Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer- aided design (CAD) applications.
• Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of a proposed project, including constraining factors such as; environmental impact and project budget.
• Working closely with other professionals and contractors in determining the materials to be used and specifying the requirements for the project.
• Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any related problems that may arise during construction.
• Making site visits to ensure the project is running according to schedule and budget.
• Playing a part in project and team management.
• Paying regularly to building sites, proposed locations and client meetings.
• Undertake design project from concept to completion
• Assist in Inspecting and surveying buildings
• Assist in defining project requirements and schedule during the project.
• Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
• Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
• Produce “sample” and “mood products”

PS: The job holder is not limited to the above- mentioned.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Illustrator or other design programs
• Excellent portfolio of previous works
• Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
• Communication and presentation skills
• Project management skills
• BS degree in Architecture or Similar
