Junior Accountant at Skyline International Tourism and Hospitality Ltd

Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with strong skills in MIS reporting and Microsoft Excel to support our finance team.
• The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting operations, prepare management reports, and analyze financial data to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and books of accounts.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and periodic financial summaries.
• Use advanced Excel functionsfor data analysis and reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
• Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets.
• Help in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data.
• Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Candidates living in Gwarimpa and its environsare preferred for this role.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of MIS reporting
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
