Role Purpose
The IT & Digital Enablement Lead (Africa Operations) is responsible for managing and supporting Procept Africa’s IT operations, enterprise systems, digital tools, and technology support services to ensure stable, secure, and efficient business operations.
The role focuses primarily on operational IT management, user enablement, systems support, and technology coordination across Procept Africa’s business operations. The role will also support the adoption and effective use of digital tools that improve operational efficiency, collaboration, consulting delivery, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Support
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, user support, system availability, and issue resolution
- Maintain IT procedures, documentation, system monitoring, and user access management
Systems & Applications Management
- Support and administer enterprise systems, business applications, and collaboration platforms
- Coordinate system maintenance, vendor support, automation, and process improvement initiatives
Digital Enablement & User Adoption
- Support rollout and adoption of digital tools through user training, guidance, and support
- Serve as liaison between business users and technology vendors/service providers
Website & Digital Platform Support
- Ensure website stability, security, maintenance, hosting, and technical support coordination
- Support digital platforms and analytics tools used across the business
Cybersecurity & Information Protection
- Implement basic cybersecurity, access control, and data protection practices
- Support risk monitoring, incident escalation, audits, and compliance activities
Vendor & Service Provider Coordination
- Coordinate IT vendors and service providers to ensure effective and cost-efficient service delivery
- Monitor vendor performance, SLAs, maintenance activities, and support requests
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare operational IT reports and maintain IT asset and system records
- Identify and implement practical improvements to systems, processes, and user experience
Qualifications
Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline
Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in IT operations, systems administration, or technology support
- Experience managing business applications and enterprise systems
- Experience coordinating vendors and technology service providers
- Experience supporting users in professional services or consulting environments is an advantage
- Practical experience supporting collaboration tools, cloud platforms, and digital workplace technologies
Certifications
- Preferred certifications include:
- ITIL4 Foundation and higher levels
- Microsoft Certifications
- AWS or Cloud Fundamentals Certifications
- Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certifications
- Project Management Certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM) are an added advantage
- Vendor coordination and SLA monitoring
- Systems documentation and reporting
- Basic analytics and reporting tools.
