    Investment Relationship Officer

    Summary

    • As an Investment Relationship Manager, you will be expected to act as the primary link between the company’s management and its investors (both current and potential), as well as the broader financial community.
    • Your core responsibility is to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationship to ensure that investors are well-informed, satisfied, and engaged.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, which can include high-net-worth individuals, investors and corporations.
    • Identify and target potential new investors to expand company’s investor base.
    • Proactively seek out new clients through networking, referrals and outreach efforts.
    • Coordinate due diligence efforts, including KYC checks and investment agreements.
    • Identify new business opportunities and upselling/cross-selling relevant financial products and services to existing clients
    • Serve as the main point of contact for investors inquiries and concerns, providing timely and accurate responses.
    • Regularly communicate the company’s financial performance, key developments, strategic initiatives, and market outlook to investors through various channels (e.g. presentations, meetings).
    • Prepare and distribute investor reports, financial updates, and performance summaries.
    • Translate complex financial information into clear, understandable language for non-expert audiences.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment to provide valuable insights to the executive team.
    • Gather feedback from investors and providing it to management to help inform strategic decision.
    • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of financial information to investors, adhering to all relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance team to ensure all investor interaction meet regulatory and internal guidelines.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ Degree in any reputable course but degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics and Business Administration will be an added advantage with a Minimum of 2:2.
    • Must have completed NYSC
    • Analytical Skills, Risk Management, and Risk Analysis
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret financial data
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
    • Good knowledge of Excel
    • Good writing and communication skills
    • Must possess strong analytical skills
    • Experience in banking, assets management and investment banking in a finance company with Two (2) to Four (4) years is an advantage.
