We’re on the hunt for a detail-driven Inventory Officer who will keep our kitchens stocked, our wastage low, and our service consistent across all outlets.
At Sooyah Bistro, inventory management is more than counting stock — it’s about ensuring every ingredient and supply supports an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily stock management across outlets, central stores, and commissary points.
Maintain accurate inventory records using approved systems and reconcile variances after physical counts.
Track ingredient usage based on recipes and menu demand, ensuring stock aligns with production forecasts.
Monitor reorder levels and prepare timely purchase requisitions for replenishment.
Implement inventory control procedures to reduce waste, spoilage, and stockouts.
Work closely with Procurement and Kitchen teams to coordinate deliveries and verify incoming goods.
Prepare and submit regular inventory and variance reports for management review.
Uphold food safety, hygiene, and storage standards in all inventory activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field.
2–4 years’ experience in inventory control, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or FMCG setting.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock reconciliation processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
