Account Officer at Strengths Africa Limited

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Officer to support the company’s financial operations by maintaining accurate records, preparing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations. The ideal candidate must be reliable, analytical, and detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation
• Assist in the preparation of final accounts and financial statements
• Handle tax computations, filings, and statutory remittances
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Process invoices, payments, and expense records
• Support audits and financial reviews
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar role
• Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• ICAN/ACCA certification or progress is an added advantage
