The role is responsible for evaluating the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the organization's internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
This role ensures compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while identifying opportunities for operational improvement.
Eligibility Criteria
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting Or any related discipline.
A Professional certification or progress toward ICAN, ACCA, CIA equivalent Will be an added advantage.
Minimum of years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
Knowledge Of NAICOM regulations, the Insurance Act, IFRS 17, and Solvency II (or equivalents).
Familiarity With core insurance operations (life, general, Or reinsurance) is highly desirable.
Experience with audit tools and data analytics is a plus.
