    Instrumentation Maintenance Technician

    Vacancy Description
    Maintenance execution:

    • Executes preventive and corrective maintenance work according to plan across the site
    • Be versertile in all instrument operations and workings of the running software
    • Fixes breakdowns and performs repairs that are Elecrical and Insrumentation related across site
    • Be able to carryout an improvements on equipments for better performance
    • Be able to conceptualize, design and implement machine/process improvement for increased outputs
    • Ensure work order registration in CMMS (hours, materials, feedback text, etc.)
    • Closes work order when work is finished.
    • Keep record of all electrical equipments.
    • Modification of electrical machines when require.
    • Oversee/ carry out legal require testings  on plant  electrical installations.
    • Participates in work meetings and improvement teams
    • Makes suggestions to optimize preventive maintenance plans
    • Manages adjustments, Analyzes maintainability of adjustments, modifications and new constructions
    • Gives input to updates of technical drawings, documentation, diagrams and settings
    • Administrative handling of maintenance activities in Maintenance Management System
    • Designing and testing electrical equipment and processes
    • Exploring and implementing new ways to automate electreical equipment systems
    • Programming new electrical components and device.
    • Identifying quality issues relating to equipment operations and writing reports
    • Eliminating defects and errors with product and software development
    • Collaborating with other business units to achieve process improvement and reducing production cost.

    Enforcement – Safety, Quality, Healthy and Environment:

    • Applies and enforces all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental requirements and standards
    • Implement relevant QSHE risk addressing maintenance
    • Identifies unsafe and unhygienic situations and reports them to the supervisor
    • Prepares work permit
    • Perform LMRA before maintenance activities
    • Applies LOTOTO procedure
    • Maintain a 5S work areas, follow good manufacturing practices, and work safely.

    Responsibilities

    • Carrying out planned maintenance work (preventive and corrective), process improvement to reduce cost and increase production efficiency through software/instrumentation optimization on production facilities and/or utility facilities.
    • Keeping/ bringing technical equipment in optimal condition.
    • Comply to company regulations on Safety, Quality Health and Environment

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, robotics Engineering
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in similar role.
