Job Summary
The Information Technology & Partnerships Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the Company\'s IT infrastructure, driving digital transformation initiatives, developing strategic partnerships, and supporting business growth through innovative technology solutions and digital marketing initiatives.
The successful candidate will serve as the link between Information Technology, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations, ensuring seamless technology-driven service delivery while expanding the Company\'s distribution network through strategic alliances.
Key Responsibilities
Information Technology Management
- Oversee the Company\'s IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and digital platforms.
- Ensure optimal system availability, cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate the implementation of technology solutions that improve customer onboarding, policy administration, underwriting, claims management, and customer experience.
- Monitor IT performance and recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
- Support business intelligence through effective data management, reporting, and analytics.
- Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and information security best practices.
Strategic Planning & Digital Transformation
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the Company\'s business objectives.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
- Recommend innovative technology solutions that support business growth and market competitiveness.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets relating to Information Technology and digital initiatives.
- Monitor emerging technologies and recommend opportunities for business improvement.
Digital Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies that increase customer acquisition and brand visibility.
- Coordinate internal digital marketing activities across multiple online platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize marketing initiatives for improved results.
- Support lead generation and customer retention initiatives.
- Track digital sales performance against approved business targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams to increase market share.
Reporting & Business Analytics
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
- Present business performance reports to Executive Management.
- Monitor digital marketing performance, partnership effectiveness, and IT service delivery.
- Analyze customer behaviour, production performance, and underwriting trends.
- Provide recommendations based on business intelligence and market insights.
Leadership & People Management
- Supervise the Information Technology function.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Drive high performance through effective performance management.
- Promote innovation, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or any related discipline.
- Master\'s Degree will be an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Prince2, Digital Marketing, Google Analytics, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, or related certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years\' progressive experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Business Development, Partnerships, or related functions.
- Experience within the Insurance, Microinsurance, Financial Services, Fintech, or Microfinance industry is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with Cooperatives, Trade Associations, MFIs, or Financial Inclusion programmes will be an added advantage.
