    Human Resources Officer

    Job Summary 

    • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to support the effective management of our workforce. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, supporting recruitment, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and company procedures.

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Support end-to-end recruitment and selection processes (job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding).
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
    • Implement and communicate HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
    • Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary processes in line with company policy.
    • Support performance management processes, appraisals, and employee development initiatives.
    • Coordinate staff training, learning, and development activities.
    • Support payroll inputs, leave management, and staff benefits administration.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal HR standards.
    • Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, attendance, and other HR metrics.
    • Support workplace health, safety, and welfare initiatives.
    • Act as a liaison between management and employees on HR-related matters.

    Required Skills & Competencies 

    • Good understanding of HR principles, policies, and best practices.
    • Knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and HR compliance requirements.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Good organizational and time-management skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Basic knowledge of HR software is an added advantage.

    Qualifications 

    • Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
    • Professional HR certifications such as CIPM will be an added advantage.

    Experience 

    • Minimum of 2–4 years relevant HR experience, preferably in a structured organization.
    • Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.

    Additional Requirements 

    • Strong ethical standards and discretion.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to learn and grow within the HR function.
