Production Manager (Food & Beverage Outlet) - Lagos at Nicole Sinclair Consulting

We are seeking to hire a Production Manager who will oversee and manage the end-to-end production process of our products, including healthy shakes, coffee, and related items. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of production processes, recipe development, quality control, and team supervision, while ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance with quality and hygiene standards. the role will actively contribute to revenue generation by improving product quality, cost efficiency, yield, and by supporting new product development that drives sales and profitability.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily production operations for energy bars, healthy shakes, coffee, and related products
• Plan and manage production schedules to meet demand and minimize wastage
• Support revenue growth through faster scale-up of high-demand products
• Collaborate with management and sales teams to align production with revenue targets
• Identify opportunities for new products, variants, or formats that can increase sales
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation
• Establish, document, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all products
• Develop, test, and standardize new recipes and formulations
• Improve existing recipes for taste, nutrition, shelf life, and cost efficiency
• Work closely with management on new product launches and product improvement
• Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback
• Manage raw material inventory, ingredients, and packaging supplies

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or related fields
• Experience in scaling production for growing brands or startups
• 5 years proven experience in production management or supervision
• Experience with energy bars, beverages, or similar consumable products
• Ability to link production decisions with revenue and profitability
