    Human Resources Officer

    PeopleOS HR Partners Consulting Limited is a professional services firm specializing in the provision of end-to- end people solutions to businesses across multiple industries, including but not limited to:
     

    • HR as a Service: Our HR as a Service model offers flexible, cost-effective HR outsourcing, giving access to expert HR management without an in-house team. The model is targeted at Startups and Technical founders who do not have the time or resources to invest in the full HR team.
    • Recruitment Support Services: End-to-end hiring assistance, including job advertising, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, background checks, and onboarding support. Designed to enhance efficiency and talent quality, these services streamline recruitment processes while reducing time-to-hire and operational burden.
    • RemoteOS: Our flexible staffing model provides access to a global talent pool, allowing clients to scale quickly. PeopleOS manages resources while clients focus on growth.

    We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional who is eager to learn, organized, and ready to build a strong foundation in HR Operations and people management. The Ideal candidate will support the day-to-day HR operations for our clients, assist with recruitment activities, maintain employee records, track attendance and performance updates, and help drive a positive staff experience.

    Summary of Responsibilities

    HR Operations & Administrations

    • Manage and maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
    • Track attendance, leave, punctuality, and compliance with internal policies.
    • Maintain organized digital and physical HR files (Google Drive / HR systems).
    • Ensure confidentiality and proper documentation of employee information.
    • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly HR operational reports.

    Recruitment & Onboarding

    • Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling.
    • Support basic candidate assessments and interview coordination.
    • Manage onboarding processes, documentation, and employee induction sessions.
    • Ensure a smooth and complaint-friendly onboarding experience for new hires.

    Performance Management & Reporting

    • Collect performance data and maintain KPI and OKR tracking sheets.
    • Support monthly performance check-ins and review cycles.
    • Contribute to HR dashboards, reports, and workforce analytics.
    • Provide data insights to support management decision-making.

    Employee Experience & Engagement

    • Support staff engagement initiatives, wellness activities, and employee feedback processes
    • Assist in coordinating recognition programmes and staff communication
    • Help identify and report employee concerns to the HR Lead

    Policy Compliance & Support

    • Ensure employees follow HR Policies, SOPs, and basic labour compliance requirements
    • Support issue resolution by documenting concerns and escalating when needed
    • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional HR standards.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 2-4 years’ progressive experience in Human Resources or a related people-operations role.
    • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management abilities
    • Sound working knowledge of HR best practices, Nigerian Labour Laws, and compliance requirements.
    • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) or Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to generate HR reports and documentation.
    • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in HR documentation, records, and reporting.
    • Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
    • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to take initiative.
