    Human Resource Manager

    Ziba Beach Resort is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our people function across a fast-paced hospitality operation.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, attendance and discipline, training, HR compliance, payroll inputs, employee engagement and management accountability.

    We are looking for someone who can go beyond HR administration to build a disciplined, high-performing and service-driven workforce.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning
    • Drive performance reviews, probation assessments and employee KPIs
    • Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary matters
    • Monitor attendance, lateness, absenteeism and workforce discipline
    • Coordinate onboarding, training and staff development
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
    • Support payroll preparation and ensure accuracy of HR inputs
    • Track employee turnover, staffing gaps and HR risks
    • Hold managers accountable for effective people management
    • Provide monthly HR reports and recommendations to management

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or a related field
    • Minimum 4–6 years relevant HR experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role
    • Experience managing a workforce of 100+ employees is preferred
    • Hospitality, hotel, restaurant, retail or other service-sector experience is an advantage
    • CIPM or another recognised HR certification is strongly preferred
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour and employment practices
    • Strong communication, documentation, conflict-resolution and performance-management skills

    We are particularly interested in candidates who are firm, organised, commercially aware and comfortable driving accountability across both frontline teams and managers.
