    Human Resource Generalist

    Job Summary

    • The Human Resources Generalist plays a critical role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and policy implementation. The role partners closely with hiring managers and global business services leadership to ensure strategic alignment of HR initiatives with organizational goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Global Business Services management team in identifying budgeted staffing needs in alignment with workforce plans.
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job description development, advertising vacancies, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters and onboarding communications.
    • Coordinate a seamless onboarding process by preparing necessary documentation, scheduling orientations, and liaising with relevant departments to ensure a positive first-day experience.
    • Perform administrative tasks including new-hire orientation logistics, data entry into the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), conducting exit interviews, and participating in regular HR audits for compliance and data integrity.
    • Provide dedicated HR advisory support to employees and managers on issues related to absenteeism, workplace health, conduct, grievances, organizational change, and other employee relations matters.
    • Liaise with external HR consultants or vendors as needed to support strategic HR initiatives, utilizing their expertise for special projects.
    • Could you help in reviewing, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures, including the employee handbook and directory?
    • Work collaboratively with the HR team to design and implement strategic HR programs that support company goals.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure full compliance with applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
    • HR Certification (e.g., CIPM, PHR) is mandatory

    Experience

    • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or in a similar HR role
    • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance regulations
    • Advanced knowledge of HRIS, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and the ability to learn new technical systems when necessary

    Skills & Compentencies

    • Proficient in using tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle confidential information.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with employees and managers at all levels
    • Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Excellent problem-solving, reporting, and analytical abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while fostering positive relationships
    • Proven ability to partner with executive leadership
