Job Summary
The HR Executive will support the effective management of human resources within the outpatient clinic by implementing HR policies, managing recruitment and onboarding, handling employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting staff development. The role is critical in ensuring a productive, compliant, and patient-focused workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles.
- Screen CVs, schedule interviews, and assist in candidate selection.
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation.
- Organize orientation and induction programs for new hires.
HR Administration & Records Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts, leave, attendance, and personal files.
- Manage HR databases and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
- Prepare HR letters, memos, confirmation, promotion, and exit documentation.
Employee Relations & Discipline
- Serve as a point of contact for staff HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution in line with clinic policies.
- Support the implementation of disciplinary actions, queries, and hearings.
Performance Management
- Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
- Coordinate performance review cycles and documentation.
- Assist managers in setting KPIs and providing feedback to staff.
Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
- Support payroll preparation by collating attendance, overtime, leave, and deductions.
- Administer staff benefits including HMO, pension, and welfare programs.
- Respond to staff enquiries related to salary, benefits, and deductions.
Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, healthcare regulations, and internal HR policies.
- Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
Health, Safety & Workplace Conduct
- Support implementation of occupational health and safety policies.
- Ensure staff adhere to workplace conduct, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Assist in coordinating health and safety training and incident reporting.
Reporting & HR Support
- Prepare monthly HR reports (attendance, recruitment, dashboard).
- Support clinic management with HR insights and workforce planning.
- Perform any other HR-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinic environment.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
