    HR Director

    Job Summary

    • The HR Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the Human Resources function. The role oversees HR operations, ensuring effective talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Director will drive HR initiatives that support the company's growth, culture, and long-term objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic HR Leadership

    • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and vision.
    • Advise senior management on HR best practices, workforce planning, and organizational development.
    • Lead HR transformation, culture building, and change management initiatives.

    Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

    • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes to attract skilled and qualified talent.
    • Ensure effective onboarding and integration programs for new hires.
    • Develop long-term workforce planning strategies.

    Employee Relations & Engagement

    • Promote a positive workplace culture and strong employee engagement.
    • Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in compliance with company policies.
    • Ensure consistent and fair application of HR policies.

    Performance Management

    • Oversee the performance appraisal process and ensure alignment between KPIs and business goals.
    • Train managers on effective performance management and coaching.
    • Develop improvement plans for underperforming employees.

    Learning & Development

    • Identify training needs and create programs that enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
    • Implement succession planning and leadership development initiatives.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Design and manage competitive compensation structures.
    • Ensure payroll accuracy and timely salary administration.
    • Review benefits packages and recommend improvements where necessary.

    HR Operations & Compliance

    • Ensure HR policies comply with labor laws and best practices.
    • Maintain employee records, HR reports, and HRIS systems.
    • Oversee workplace health, safety, and welfare initiatives.

    Reporting & Analytics

    • Provide HR metrics and insights to guide management decisions.
    • Use data to improve processes such as turnover, hiring time, performance, and productivity.

    RequirementsEducation & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
    • Minimum of 15-20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
    • Professional HR certifications (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) are highly desirable.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Deep understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage change, conflict, and complex employee relations issues.
