    HR Associate

    In this role, you will be expected to create a convenient and stress free environment for nurturing great talents and creating a road map for career improvement and advancement which will bring about organizational growth and a lasting impact in Nigeria and Africa at large.

    You will primarily be responsible for overseeing the benefits programs, handling employees disputes and complaints, managing regulatory compliance, managing recruitment process, automating the HR process, maintaining employees personal records and ensuring that there is a workable and realistic succession plan.

    JOB EXPECTATIONS

    Resource Planning:

    • Consults with company leads to provide customized recruitment, Interview and selection of candidates, while promoting diversity, and cultural fit as a criterion for candidate consideration and engagement.

    • Plan the requirement and availability of human resources for the business, in line with business objectives and Organizational development plans.

    • Ensure that new employees are effectively on-boarded and positioned into the company.

    • Develop and manage the company’s internship and graduate program to support Company wide strategic growth

    • Constantly reviewing the Human resource need to anticipate need for expansion or stream lining of the workforce and also to determine training objectives for specific roles.

    • Constant update of the skill level of the workforce to determine growth path and growth area.

    Human Resource Information System:

    • Ensure timely update of personnel records (personal details, position, salary, appraisal outcomes, leave records, training and awards)on the companies Odoo system

    • Ensure up to date record of all staff activities within the organization: engagement, promotion, pay review, appraisal feedback etc. are communicated to staff promptly

    • Liaise with other departmental heads so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purpose and achievements, and are updated of any new policies/procedures via the company Odoo ERP

    Performance Management System (PMS):

    • Develop and implement an effective system of staff performance evaluation, advise management on the implication of the Appraisals outcome; promotion, Pay review, training needs and development plan implementation.

    • Review employee bi-annual feedback and develop/amend any policies/procedure, if deemed necessary.

    • Ensure the company’s performance management appraisal processes are optimal.

    • Ensure that Staff KPI/KRA are reviewed periodically to align with work done that will be appraised during the period.

    • Consistently review and update changes in KPI/KRA based on new business realities.

    • Ensure that all Staff have a documented KPI/KRA 3 months before an appraisal period

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Assist the finance department in payroll administration by providing input with respect to increment, special payments, etc.

    • Provide information to all employees regarding their entitlements.

    • Manage a total compensation database to help company plan and project expansion needs and impact to its finances.

    • Ensure that Staff receive compensation within agreed time.

    • Ensure that Staff are well rewarded for the Value they bring into the organization.

    Training and Development:

    • Work with Direct reports to continuously identify developmental needs of the team mates.

    • Organize appropriate training programs for employees

    • Follow up on all training activities and make suggestions for improvements where needed.

    • Ensure that Training actions are in line with organizational direction for the period.

    Employee Relations

    • Handle complaints, disputes and grievances of all employees.

    • Foster a conducive working environment through employee relations activities and communication.

    • Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving and provide feedback to their direct reports

    • Review the HR Service Manual on a regular basis and update with any new policies and communicate same to Staff.

    • Create periodic bonding activities among team and within organizations.
