    History / Government Teacher

    Job Summary

    • We're seeking a qualified and passionate History and Government Teacher to teach students at the secondary level.
    • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in history and government, with excellent teaching and communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Teach History and Government: Deliver engaging lessons to students, covering topics such as world history, Nigerian history, and government.
    • Lesson Planning: Prepare and develop lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to meet curriculum requirements.
    • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring student participation and engagement.
    • Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
    • Professional Development: Stay updated on developments in history and government, integrating new concepts and methods into teaching practices.

    Requirements

    • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in History, Government, Education, or related field.
    • Teaching Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
    • Certifications: Relevant teaching certifications, such as NCE or TRCN.

    Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of history and government principles
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Lesson planning and classroom management abilities
    • Assessment and feedback skills
    • Professional development commitment.
