Head of Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies Department at TAAS College

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement QAIS curriculum for primary and secondary levels
• Supervise teaching and learning across QAIS subjects
• Oversee Qur’an memorization and Tajweed programs
• Integrate Islamic values across school activities
• Lead and mentor QAIS teaching staff
• Organize training and spiritual development sessions for staff
• Develop and implement student assessments in QAIS
• Monitor student academic and behavioral progress
• Promote Islamic programs and school-wide events
• Supervise student-led religious activities (e.g., Jum’ah)
• Coordinate with school leadership for curriculum alignment
• Maintain academic and administrative documentation
• Communicate regularly with parents on student progress.

Requirements and Skills

• Degree in Islamic Studies, Arabic, or Qur’anic Sciences
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of teaching or leadership experience
• Hafiz/Hafiza with Ijazah (preferred)
• Fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with classical and modern Islamic education
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Ability to inspire students and staff in an Islamic environment.
