Role Summary

• Design policies, overseeing operations nationwide and implementing technology driven solutions.
• The Head of Operation oversees all operational functions within his purview and ensure hitch free operations by ensuring human resource capacity.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee/coordinate all operations activities of the team to ensure compliance with the mandate
• Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team,
• Design policies that align with overall strategy of the operation department
• Implement efficient processes and standard of the department
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws.
• Review all operational financial request and compare with budgetary provision before seeking approval from MD
• Conduct periodic inspections of our warehouse locations
• Attend meetings with the sales team at client locations
• Make necessary calls to relevant officials of client companies
• Hold a weekly tactical meeting with the operation team and report to MD
• Oversees expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize cost and benefits
• Mentor and motivate the team to achieve productivity and engagement
• Ensure the Job/release is done in the most efficient and cost-effective way not compromising processes and procedures.
• Report on operational performance and suggest an improvement
• Prepare a stock report for customers
• Discuss and review (weekly) reports from all operation Executives
• Prepare and present a monthly report to the MD
• Ensure the rotation of staff within 6months to one-year maximum
• Review the preceding month’s performance with a view to improving existing Operation dynamics
• Ensure employee discipline at a place of work is maintained.
• Customer relationship management
• Attend monthly strategy and management meeting
• Any other responsibility assigned by the managing director.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in any reputable institution
• At least 3 years experience as an Operations Head or similar roles.

Salary

• N150,000 monthly.
