Job Overview

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Head of Housekeeping.
• As the leader of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cleanliness, maintenance, and organization within our facilities.
• You will ensure that our patients, guests and employees enjoy a clean, safe, and comfortable environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the housekeeping team, including hiring, training, and supervising staff members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Operations Management: Develop and implement efficient housekeeping procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the premises. Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Address any deficiencies promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Patient Satisfaction: Prioritize patient satisfaction by promptly addressing any housekeeping-related concerns or requests. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Stay updated on industry best practices and implement changes as needed to maintain compliance.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the housekeeping department budget, including labor, supplies, and equipment expenses. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
• Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on housekeeping operations, including key performance indicators, budget variance analysis, and guest feedback. Present findings to senior management as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in Housekeeping. Preferably in the hospitality and healthcare sector.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Solid understanding of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and housekeeping management software.
