Head of FX and Cross-Border Payments at Nomba (Formerly Kudi)

Role Overview:

• This is an FTE role focused on finding product-market fit and proving repeatable, scalable flows in cross-border FX. You’ll test both sides of the trade — demand and liquidity — across our priority corridors.
• The goal is to reach $10M/month in consistent, non-ad hoc flows. This is incremental to our current volumes and represents a new, dedicated stream of activity. If the model works and both sides are aligned, this role can evolve into a long-term strategic position with broader scope and bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and onboard anchor customers with ongoing cross-border trade needs (e.g. car importers, commodity buyers, retail exporters etc.)
• Build simple, repeatable systems for sourcing and onboarding customers in each corridor
• Establish and manage relationships with MSBs, banks, OTC desks, and stablecoin liquidity providers
• Be deliberate in finding ways to balance both sides of each corridor to manage liquidity effectively
• Ensure compliance, visibility, and early infrastructure for scale

You Should Have:

• 5+ years in FX, cross-border payments, crypto treasury, or trade finance
• Familiarity with African and Asian trade corridors.
• Strong execution instincts and commercial drive
• Ability to source flows, close partnerships, and validate repeatability fast
• Fluent in English (French is a strong plus)
• Existing MSB or liquidity relationship is a plus.
