Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with business unit heads and senior leadership.
Develop comprehensive financial models to project long-term growth and evaluate the impact of various business factors.
Deliver in-depth competitor analysis, market trend assessments, and associated commentary to the leadership team to inform strategic decisions.
Prepare detailed business cases to support new investments, strategic initiatives, and other critical business decisions.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management regarding financial modeling, profitability, and future growth opportunities.
Analyze complex financial and operational results to provide a deep understanding of company performance.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and analyzing the causes of unexpected variances across revenue, cost of sales, and expenses.
Conduct detailed analysis and provide commentary on cost center results to drive accountability and performance.
Evaluate previous budgets and expenditures to develop and implement more effective future budgets.
Provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management to support informed decision-making.
Oversee and manage the ongoing development and improvement of budgeting, financial forecasting, and operational modeling tools.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Master’s degree in finance and/or MBA preferred.
A Professional qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA, is required.
10+ years’ experience working in a financial analysis & planning role.
Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting
Leadership ability to guide and get results from a team.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
