    Graduate Trainee: Inventory Personnel

    Location: (Elele River State)
    Salary: 100, 00.00

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Trainee to join our Inventory Management team. The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training in inventory control processes, stock management, and supply chain operations to support efficient warehouse and logistics functions. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
    • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Support in preparing inventory reports and documentation.
    • Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of low or excess inventory.
    • Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts.
    • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of materials.
    • Follow safety and operational procedures in the warehouse.
    • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory flows.
    • Learn and utilize inventory software and ERP systems.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounts, Accounts, statistics, or related field.
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
    • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

    Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

    • Internship or prior experience in inventory.
    • Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).

    Training & Development:

    • Structured on-boarding and training plan.
    • Mentorship from experienced inventory and supply chain professionals.
    • Exposure to end-to-end inventory management processes.
