Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance technical services.
• Align technical operations with overall organizational objectives.

Technical Operations Leadership:

• Lead and manage the technical operations team, ensuring policy documents accuracy, the efficient handling of insurance and reinsurance placements.
• Oversee underwriting, claims processing, and risk assessment functions.

Business Development:

• Identifyand capitalize on new market opportunities to grow revenue.
• Own and hit/exceed sales targets.
• Establishand maintain relationships with high-profile clients and stakeholders.

Client Relationship Management:

• Provide expert advice to clients on technical matters.
• Ensure the delivery of tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Compliance and Risk Administration:

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Oversee risk assessments and provide expert guidance on complex insurance and reinsurance cases.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing team.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning.
• Implement initiatives for staff development and retention.

Requirements

• BA / BSc / HND; A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Associate Member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN) or Chartered Insurance Institute, UK;
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role;
• Experience in Oil & Gas and Aviation Insurance is highly desirable;
• Strong and proventrack record of driving business growth and achieving strategic objectives;
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills;
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex operations.
