    • This role is for a meticulous financial professional who ensures that our growth is backed by precision, compliance, and strategic foresight.

Experience Level: Mid-level (Minimum 2 years)

    How You'll Make an Impact:

    • We are looking for a highly disciplined Finance Manager who lives and breathes numbers. This isn't just about bookkeeping; it’s about end-to-end financial stewardship. You will be the guardian of our ledger, ensuring the absolute quality and timeliness of every financial statement, from cash flow to the balance sheet.
    • You’ll play a critical role in navigating the newly passed tax laws, ensuring our remittances (Tax, Pension, etc.) are flawless. If you have a consulting or startup background and thrive on the challenge of variance analysis, forecast accuracy, and operational risk management, you are the talent we need.

    What You'll Do:

    • Financial Reporting & Management Accounts
    • Prepare the Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Balance Sheet with absolute accuracy.
    • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and manage the end-to-end accounting CRM tools.
    • Analyze the Debt-to-Equity ratio and perform sensitivity analysis to guide leadership decision-making.

    Financial Operations & Controls:

    • Own the end-to-end Account Payables (AP) and Account Receivables (AR) lifecycle, ensuring timely payments and aggressive follow-up on outstanding client invoices.
    • Perform meticulous monthly bank, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations to maintain 100% data integrity within our accounting systems.
    • Develop and enforce rigorous financial control policies, ensuring all expenditures align with approved budgets and grade-level authorities.
    • Supervise the issuance and tracking of all financial instruments, ensuring 100% accuracy and professional compliance in all documentation

    Payroll, Tax & Benefits:

    • Manage the monthly payroll schedule and ensure 100% compliance with statutory remittances (LIRS, FIRS, Pension, etc.).
    • Act as the subject matter expert on current Nigerian tax laws to prevent regulatory violations.

    Budgeting & FP&A:

    • Drive the quarterly Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) cycle.
    • Measure budget utilization rates and identify specific areas for cost savings across the organization.

    Compliance, Risk & Control:

    • Develop and enforce financial control policies, ensuring all spend aligns with recruitment and grade-level budgets.
    • Monitor liquidity risk and operational risk exposure daily.

    What We're Looking For
    Professional & Technical Strengths:

    • Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
    • Professional (Mandatory): Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA).
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years of end-to-end accounting experience, preferably within an accounting consulting firm or a fast-paced startup.
    • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of current tax laws, pension remittances, and IFRS standards.
    • Tools: Proficient in accounting CRM tools, ERPs, and advanced Microsoft Excel (for $MAPE$, variance, and sensitivity analysis).
    • Reporting: Proven ability to deliver management accounts and financial forecasts under tight deadlines.

    Leadership & Interpersonal Strengths:

    • Attention to Detail: You are meticulous; a single misaligned digit bothers you.
    • Analytical Mindset: You look past the numbers to understand the "why" behind the data.
    • Integrity: You maintain the highest ethical standards in financial reporting and compliance.

    Success Milestones: Your First Year:

    • Within 3 Months: Operational Rigor & Compliance
    • Closing Cycles: Achieve the target of delivering monthly financial reports within the 1st week of every month with 100% accuracy.
    • Tax Integration: Fully integrate the requirements of the newly passed tax laws into our remittance and reporting workflows.
    • Payroll Stabilization: Take full ownership of the payroll cycle, achieving a zero-error rate in processing and 100% timeliness in payslip distribution.
    • Receivables/Payables: Stabilize the invoice processing time to under 24 hours from request and manage $DRO$ (Days Receivables Outstanding) within a 30-day window.

Within 6 Months: Analytical Mastery & Forecasting:

    • Variance Analysis: Implement regular monthly budget utilization reports, highlighting cost-saving opportunities and analyzing budget variances.
    • Forecast Accuracy: Improve the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) in cash flow forecasting through data-driven research and analysis.
    • Risk Management: Deliver your first monthly Risk Exposure Report, covering liquidity and operational risk assessments.
    • Invoice Management: Maintain a zero-hold rate on invoices and ensure 100% accuracy in approval-to-payment workflows.
